The optimal substrate quantity is crucial for the profitability of a biogas plant. Recommendations for minimum quantities vary depending on the country and the associated framework conditions, subsidies and feed-in tariffs.
International:
Please note that in countries outside the DACH region, we can only offer projects as general contractor in cooperation with local partners. In countries where we do not have a local partner so far, we can offer you the engineering of your planned project.
Are you well-connected in your country, do you have a realistic project with at least approx. 10,000 t of secured available substrate per year in prospect and would you like to exclusively promote our Renergon RSD biogas plant technology in your country as a strategic partner? Then we look forward to your inquiry.
Switzerland and Austria:
We recommend a minimum quantity of approx. 5,000 tons per year. This quantity is optimal in Switzerland and Austria to ensure the profitability of a plant. This takes into account the specific Swiss/Austrian conditions and possible subsidies that influence the success of a project.
This corresponds, for example, to the manure of about 1,000 cattle or 500 horses. Do you have this amount of substrate at your disposal secured for the long term, or can you realistically achieve this amount in the future? Then we look forward to your inquiry.
Germany:
For Germany, we recommend a minimum quantity of approx. 10,000 tons per year. This higher value results from the specific German framework conditions and the associated feed-in tariffs, which make a larger quantity of substrates economically viable.
This corresponds, for example, to the manure of about 2,000 cattle or 1,000 horses. Is this amount of substrate available to you in the long term on a secured basis or can you realistically achieve this amount in the future? Then we look forward to your inquiry.
